CUPRITE – RED DOME GOLD MINE

This is a beautiful rare cuprite specimen from the famous Red Dome Gold Mine in Far North Queensland. Our collection of cuprites were collected in the late 70’s and early 80’s however, the mine is currently not producing anymore specimens. This beautiful piece exhibits well defined cubic crystals on all sides. When the crystal is back lit the beautiful cherry red colour that these crystals are famous for is highly apparent.
